Steve Swinburne

Steve and Renee Swinburne came on staff in May of 2006. Steve serves as the Assistant Pastor and oversees the Youth, Outreach and Small Group ministries. He received his Bachelors degree in 2005 from Simpson University in Pastoral of Studies, with a minor in Bible and Theology. Steve is a graduate Squalicum High School, and Renee graduated from Lynden Christian High School. Renee also attended Simpson University and graduated from there in 2006, with a degree in Business Administration.

From 2002 to 2006, Steve ministered in Redding, California. He was part of the launch team for an emerging church plant called the Stirring. He has also helped to support church plants in Reno, Nevada, and Lincoln, California. Steve served as a Ministry Intern from 2004 to 2005 with the Stirring and with the Risen King Community Church.

Steve has passion for equipping and empowering emerging leaders and helping followers of Christ to identify and use their spiritual gifts. Renee has a passion for coming alongside women, to help them discover who they are in Christ.

In their spare time, Steve and Renee love camping, hiking, playing board games, and drinking coffee.
