Children's Church offers activities and Bible Stories for kids.
They will love it!

Children's Church is offered midway through the morning worship service.
Children ages Kindergarten through 5th Grade will be dismissed to go to class.
They will meet in Room #204. 

It has been an exciting year for the children, Kindergarten-5th grade, here at Northside.
The year has been broken into 4 quarters with different teachers and helpers for each quarter.
God has graciously provided us with men and women who willingly said "yes" to this 3-month commitment. We are so thankful for the time, love, and energy they give.

There are two classrooms:  K - 2nd grade, and 3rd - 5th grade, with an average of 16 - 18 kids who attend each Sunday.
We have been using a curriculum from Great Commission Publications and the teachers have been very positive about it.  It provides an in-class paper for the children to work on in class.
The children are learning 6 or 7 memory verses each quarter, which is so important.  The older class also has a take-home paper for the kids to work on at home, encouraging daily time in the Word.

Our desire is for the children at Northside to grow strong in Jesus and feel valued as an important part of our church body.  Our mission statement reflects this:  to teach Biblical truths to the children of Northside, structuring a strong foundation that will result in a deeper understanding of God's Word and uniting the family and congregation in spiritual growth.

It has been such a blessing to have the children involved in the church services, singing for us at Christmas and Easter.  They also enjoy being called up front from time to time to spend some time with Pastor Ted before they are dismissed to their classes.  It is so important for the congregation to see who our children are and for the kids themselves to feel connected to the body of Christ.  Please continue to keep these children in your prayers, as they learn truths from God's Word and then go out into their worlds, shining their lights for Him.
