Terri makes a quarterly schedule of the nursery workers and helpers, and facilitates the communication with the volunteers.

We need volunteers to help out with our toddlers and infants during our worship service.

Northside Community Church offers quality nursery care, with an "infant" room (0 yrs - walking), a "walkers" room (1 & 2 yrs olds), and a preschool class during the worship service. 
The following letter is given to nursery volunteers:

Nursery Toddler Letter If you were given background papers, please turn them in as soon as possible. Background checks are required for all volunteers. Keep in mind this is for the Church’s protection as well as yours. We are trying to make a safe and secure environment for Northside’s children.In addition I would like to remind you:

Please arrive by 9:50.
Have parents fill out sign-in papers as well as volunteers.
Check with parents to make sure graham crackers etc. is okay for their child.
Place all diaper bags in crib. Turn on CD player.
Use plastic gloves when changing diapers. Dispose of dirty diapers in wastebasket under changing table.
At the end of your turn, please place toys on top of changing pad and spray with H2orange disinfectant in closet. Leave toys to dry.

The nursery is an opportunity to greet new parents visiting church for the first time. If we have a comfortable safe secure environment it gives parents confidence in leaving their children. I would like to thank-you from the bottom of my heart for taking your turn and making a difference in the lives of children.
