Women's Retreat: 
This past fall we had our third annual women's retreat at Cedar Springs.  Our theme was "Resting in God and Relaxing in Fellowship". We had a rich time of worship and fellowship.  Next year our retreat will take place on September 12th and 13th.  Our theme will be "Words of Grace".  We have our guest speaker, Cindy Avenger, lined up and have started planning the agends for our time at Cedar Springs.  We also have dates reserved yearly through 2011.

Storytelling:
 Groups of women gathered together to share their life stories and God's grace in their stories.  This was a time of being authentic and bonding with a group of women of the church.  We encourage groups of women to do this.  It's an opportunity to connect with other women in a deep and meaningful way.  We have group guidelines available for those interested in forming a small storytelling group.

Let's Talk:
Early in the year, we had a women's gathering to join together to talk about upcoming events, retreats (past & future), and to spend time in fellowship and prayer.

Women's Mission Trip:
In August, a group of six women will be traveling to New Mexico, through Adventures in Missions, to work with the Navajo Christian Brethren Mission.  Training has begun and will go through July.  Departure is August 8th, and our return will be on August 16th.

April Tea:
A group of women, which include Gail L., Carolyn S., Racelia G., Lois L. and Heidi S., have taken on the organization of a tea for women of the church and their guests.  It's exciting to see women who have a vision for an event and then follow through and make it happen.  It's apparent a lot of time and effort went into the planning and implementing of this event for women.

Balance is Beautiful:
Cornwall Church has invited us to participate in a conference they are sponsoring, called "Balance is Beautiful".  We are promoting this conference for women of the church and quite a number of women have signed up already.

Women's Small Group:
We are thinking about offering a small group for women this coming fall.  This is still in the gestation stage.  More information will come later.
